Barry has been involved with theatre for many years and has directed and designed many productions, especially at the Altrincham Garrick. He studied drama at Manchester University and while he admits that he is not a stage actor, his approach to animation is very much about 'acting with the puppet'.
Nevertheless, he has appeared in a few productions so judge for yourself if his admission is accurate.
