Hopefully you can see this...it's a trailer for a very striking but oh so stark production of Rigoletto fromt he Leige Opera House. I don't have the monopoly of people in animal masks, but........
I see Dustin Hoffman is about to direct a film of Quartet, the play I had such fun with two years ago- all about four elderly opera singers once famed for their Rigoletto. What a cast - Maggie Smith, Albert Finney, Tom Courtney - but I don't knwo who is playing Cissy. I wonder if they want a huge portrait of verdi.
