Frank Sidebottom, a legendary north west comedian and icon, died back home today. not only was he a great supporter of animation and with a series, I believe, in development, but his pesona, with the papier mache head and characteristic face were so interesting. He was the puppet and the puppeteer in one. The ventriloquist and the puppet. And a great example of something artifical permitting things that otherwise no-one would ever get away with. A truly unique artist.
